Didn’t get your bins collected on Saturday? You weren’t alone – refuse collection was suspended across Wearside as attention turned to the averse weather conditions.
City Council have now confirmed that all collections due to have taken place on Saturday January 2 will now take place on Friday January 8.
All ‘Kerb-it’ recycling due to be collected last Saturday will now be collected on Thursday January 14.
What to do with all the accumulated New Year garbage until then, you might well ask!
