Police are appealing for witnesses after the Laburnum Cottage public house was burgled between 9pm on Sunday January 31 and 10am on Monday February 1.
Community Support Officer 5057 Ryan Hall urges anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious around the Robinson Terrace [Link to map] pub at that time to get in touch.

Northumbria Police will be continuing high visibility foot patrols in the area.
